Lead-in to the Reading passage to “The True North” from Toronto To Montreal:
Travelling is learning. On their tour from Vancouver to the port city Thunder Bay the cousins learnt a lot about Canada including its geography, culture, population and natural resources. They also had some idea about the Calgary Stampede, big farms covering thousands of acres in a wheat province and great ocean ships sailing up the Great Lakes etc. Their travel continued and what would they find on the way from Toronto to Montreal? The second part of the reading will tell us more.
     
Questions and Answers to the Reading:
1. What did the cousins find outside the window the next morning?
The next morning when they woke up they found the bushes and maple trees had turned red, gold and orange.
