【考点036】result考点解析
1. result作名词，意为“结果”；
⑴as a result结果，因而
⑵as a result of = because of由于，因为，由于…的结果
Brown died as a result of the heart attack. 布朗死于心脏病。
2. result作动词，意为“导致，产生”；
⑴result in = lead to导致，产生
The war has resulted in many thousands of deaths. 这场战争已经导致成千上万的人死亡。
⑵result from 起因于…，由…产生
We are still dealing with problems resulting from errors made in the past.我们还在应付因过去的失误而造成的问题。
